Good price for savage????

I've been looking at the savages for about 2 years now and i really want one.I've found one a 97 model with 2800 miles,burgundy,in perfect shape.The dealer is asking 2900.00 how does this price sound.I think its pretty good considering the mileage and condition,especially since new ones sell for 4300.00 and i'm not to fond of the new paint colors,and nothing has changed on them for some years now.
